2 /5 Jada: Never up play your restaurant using influencers which could cost you!! I’m all for small businesses trying but I was tested last night. Service was terrible there was clearly a break down on communication via the staff, I attended a birthday surprise and table was booked for 8:30pm we did not get seated until 10:45pm due to overbooking by previous customers, no apologies were given just kept telling us they will sort it out. Drinks were watered down, the strawberry daiquiri filed with ice cubes floating in the glass, Disaronno sour was alright very small glass, rum punch was nice, mai tai tasted like Terry’s chocolate oranges pieces. Once the owner came the drinks were much better.
The space is very small, wouldn’t recommend a birthday booking and if so around 10-15 people for a sit down meal. If you don’t like shisha then it’s a no I don’t mind but there’s no separate ventilated area for this. Again the space was compact and the toilet is very Small. Lighting is nice for pictures and a large mirror in the hallway.
The food did not come out until 23:50pm the lamb tasted fresh and rushed and the potion sizing is not good especially for £18. The reason I gave the food 4 stars because it actually tasted alright the flavours of everything else was nice which I won’t fault at all. Unfortunately my sister’s food was not ready this was around 00:30pm well after closing so we just cancelled it and left. There clearly needs to be a better booking system, communication and don’t serve customers who come after you have people who have booked and are waiting it’s not only rude it’s what got you this very honest review today!! Would I go back? probably not the tik tok and instagram dreams people sell is not always the reality.
