1 /5 A Cohen: Let me start by saying that my grievances with this place are very specific, so they might not be relevant to everyone. Have you ever seen the inside of a bakery? The person who designed this place clearly has not. Words like “dystopian” and “futuristic” come to mind. Concrete and glass are not cosy. An empty cake display with a gold base is not appealing. It’s not that they ran out of cakes—it was the design of the place. The atmosphere. The other issue is as follows. I love a good carrot cake. From small local bakeries in California to the Instagrammable cafés of NYC, I’m no stranger to carrot cake. Some have cinnamon, some have walnuts, some have that Christmas spiciness that hugs you like a lover’s embrace. I don’t remember the flavour of the cake here. Why? Because this place puts some sort of vanilla cream on their carrot cake. A carrot cake without cream cheese frosting is sacrilegious. You simply don’t do that. Any respectable baker knows this. I can never go back and explore more of their bakes. It’s a no for me.

5 /5 Queenie Ip: Went there for the first time and this already becomes my favourite coffee place! Great vibes, friendly owners and nice coffee & food! We got the savoury French toast, smoked salmon bagel and two pieces of cakes. They were all very delicious and made with heart. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Bethany Crocker: A beautiful cafe with the most delicious coffee, brunch and lovely atmosphere. We were a table of ten (plus a dog!) and the team were able to accommodate us (with a reservation made via email) and made sure we had a wonderful family brunch that everyone could enjoy, including those with dietary restrictions. The manager Stani was so friendly and helpful, as well as being very responsive to my emails. Thank you!
