5 /5 Kate Benyon-Tinker: What a lovely place with such tasty food and owner Irina so kind & friendly. I took my mother there for her birthday lunch & Irina overheard me wishing her a happy birthday and so immediately came over with a tulip & a little cake for her. We had the khinkali (particularly enjoyed the mushroom ones), the kachapuri with the egg, and the turkey in walnut sauce. It was all home-cooked and absolutely delicious! I was sad to see we were the only ones in there at lunchtime and I’m sure it’s busier in the evenings, but I really hope people catch on to what a gem this restaurant is as it deserves to do well.

5 /5 Eric Baker: We went there last night, a 10 min walk, with two friends who recently went to Georgia. Wed only been in one Georgian restaurant before, in Wroclaw. Sahkas was quiet on a Wednesday evening, not long since they opened. But the welcome was warm and our friends could even bring their dog. We chose a bottle of Saperavi to share, delicious, and a glass of Mukuzani to try; a little rougher but my wife and I both liked that too. Wine has apparently been produced in Georgia for 8,000 years. To eat we shared the aubergine and walnut salad, a bean stew with pickles (robio?), kababi and some pork and lamb khinkali (dumplings). All fresh and really interesting varieties of flavours. Such a nice change after the usual pizza/pasta. So we really enjoyed the experience and will be back. And we hope, it is successful. It is different and well done, but down a side road with little footfall.

5 /5 Delphine Beer: First of all, the welcoming on arrival and all the way through our meal was exceptional. Then it gets better, the food is amazing. Fresh and flavoursome, tasted better than some restaurants we ate when visiting Tbilisi. Dont get me started on the wine... Cant wait to book their wine tasting course starting soon. A real gem !!!
