ashley W We had a lovely lunch at the royal. It was a place I have always wanted to go and it did not disappoint. It’s like stepping back in time. Lovely large dining hall with ample seating and enough tables for a vibrant yet chilled afternoon lunch. The food was superb. The Sunday roast was just perfect. Again the staff were so good well presented and extremely polite and friendly. It was a perfect afternoons lunch. Well done we will return.

The flavours were authentic, rich, and full of warmth. The food tasted just like traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even more special. KT I love Oko Lounge — it’s honestly the best shisha place in London. Mo, Suli, and the entire staff are fantastic: warm, respectful, and always welcoming. The crowd is very decent, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I go there almost every day and genuinely enjoy spending time there. The music is great, watching sports there is another level of fun, and the shisha is top quality — consistently excellent. One unique thing I really appreciate is that you’re allowed to bring food from outside, which makes the whole experience even better. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone. Once you visit, you’ll immediately notice the huge difference between this lounge and others in East London. Wishing the team continued success — well deserved. Tabassum

Fay Hamilton We visited today, as we won a competition on Facebook for a Sunday roast for two, our journey of an hour and 10 minutes was definitely well worth it.. we would definitely go back as paying customers. The food was by far the best roast dinner we have had in a long time, compliments to the chef! Ethan, who welcomed and served us, was outstanding. We both had the topside beef, and it was delicious. My partner had the baileys sundae, and he said it was absolutely delicious. I had the oreo sundae, and it was to die for!! All staff were friendly.. the pub itself was clean. The only downfall was nothing to do with the pub itself, but a raucous crowd disturbed the atmosphere.. but that can be expected in a pub.. we would definitely love to come back if in the area. Please note that starters are not available on the menu on a Sunday.

james kingman Wow this restaurant was 10/10. I went here on a Friday night with my in-laws, wife and 9 year old son. I couldnt believe how nice the food was. My son loved the pepperoni pizza and Ice cream. The portion sizes were huge. I was dubious after reading the reviews but Im so glad I visited, chef even came out to talk to us, the waitress couldnt do enough for us 11/10 will definitely return. I would definitely book ahead.
