4 /5 jeff benjamin: Set over a slope on merged former church property and a private residence “Neelgherries”* forming this park in 1927.
Winding steps and smooth paths transverse the steep topography that might be challenging for the more sedentary, with rockeries, formal bedding, a variety of established trees and terraces of plants/shrubs and - at the time of my visit - sadly a drained pond.
A sandpit/playground, gazebo, courts and skatepark among the amenities.
A park with an appealing layout now handicapped by a the loss of a significant locus and seemingly a purely “adequate” level of maintenance.
