4 /5 Lena: Fourteen represents a genuinely welcome addition to the Milton Keynes skyline, introducing a degree of refinement and cosmopolitan flair that the city’s hospitality scene has long been without. It is not merely a restaurant, but a destination in its own right, equally suited for an elegant dinner, a leisurely coffee, refined cocktails, or simply an elevated setting in which to enjoy a drink while taking in the remarkable views. The location alone warrants a visit. On a clear day, the panoramic outlook across Milton Keynes is truly spectacular. Even the arrival is thoughtfully curated, the glass elevator offers a graceful ascent with the city gradually revealing itself below, a charming detail that sets the tone before one even steps inside. Once upstairs, the atmosphere is distinctive and sophisticated, carrying the air of a contemporary metropolitan lounge. The space feels polished and intentional, offering an experience that is notably more elevated than most venues in the area. The culinary offering is respectable, though somewhat uneven. The coffee is genuinely excellent and among the better cups available locally. From the bar menu, the sandwiches and burgers are well executed and satisfying, while on a previous occasion the lamb from the restaurant menu was particularly well prepared and memorable. The cocktails, however, despite their promising descriptions, do not quite reach the same standard and feel somewhat underwhelming in comparison with the setting. Service is perhaps the one area where refinement could still be achieved. There appears to be a relatively high turnover of staff, apart from a handful of familiar faces since the opening, new team members seem to appear regularly. As a result, service can occasionally feel a touch slow or inconsistent. Nevertheless, Fourteen remains a striking and sophisticated venue, one that adds a welcome sense of occasion to Milton Keynes and offers a setting that is as suitable for coffee and casual drinks as it is for a full dining experience.

4 /5 Elaine Burgess: Sharing platter starter was good. Ordered lasagna thinking it would be great with it being expensive but it was terrible . Pulled beef & only 2 layers. Husband had rib eye , blue & said it was lovely. Enjoyed a lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio & chocolate dessert.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming throughout the evening, this is somewhere I would recommend to everyone. I have a nut allergy, which waitress ensured this had been mentioned before ordering anything. Importantly, I will be back.

5 /5 Jack Oughton: Booked this well in advance for a table of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Didn’t disappoint at all. Although the drinks we had in the lounge area before dinner were a little slow to arrive they did and were lovely. Dinner was an absolute treat and all 6 of us enjoyed every course. Would definitely recommend and return here as it’s one of the best steaks I’ve had.
