Henry Firman The perfect fish and chips. When I think fish & chips I have a mental image and Corries Cabin delivered it on a plate (and in a teapot). Large cod & chips, mushy peas, bread & butter for a couple of chip butties and a pot of tea. Friendly service, food cooked fresh to order and a lovely moist piece of Cod. Ate in the little restaurant area which was spotlessly clean and airy with large windows all round. Left a happy bunny. Perfect for a quick meal after a day out on the boat. For the quality of the meal I thought it was fair value.

Lewis Scott This is our second visit to Thai by Ja, we came this evening as an early valentines meal Due to both working I didn’t have a chance to book a table, luckily a quick facebook message ensured there was availability We had the sharing platter for starters, every item was delicious and fresh For mains I had the spicy beef noodles with the sirloin steak as a treat, the steak was extremely tasty, the noodles had a good amount of heat and a lovely flavour to them The wife had a prawn pad Thai, she said it was delicious Absolutely no faults and staff were very attentive, will definitely be coming again and recommending to friends and family

Marian Gallagher-Jones Visited with friends and it was fun! Cocktails were delicious and the banter with Will was brilliant. Service was great and a beautiful place to spend an evening. We didn’t eat this time but will be back

Samantha Woodward This is a well oiled machine! Appears to be family run, not sure if thats true. We had 8oz cheese burger and chips and a cod and chips. Fish was fresh, burger was generous in size and juicy and chips where proper chippy chips. Stuffed now!! Would highly recommend.

ashley W Superb. We have spent the best part of a week in The Met. From sitting outside in the sun drinking beers, cocktails and wines through to coffees ice creams and dinners. The food has been amazing. The variety really thoughtful and the flavours really enjoyable. We have had 3 dinners here and they have all been good (see pictures) the deserts were great too. Salted caramel espresso martinis and the Ales sitting outside people watching all day then at 6pm inside for dinner. The staff are amazing and helpful friendly chatty and knowledgable. A true gem down on the beach front. Really enjoyable inside and out. A must if down in Ventnor either for a quick drink or dinner. Oh true olives too.

Present Surprise We came yesterday after trying to come a few weeks back when the conservatory was being done. We said we would return next time we were over and so glad that we did. The food was stunning, the service perfect , the atmosphere as it should be and on the terrace the sun was shining. Dog friendly on the terrace and in the conservatory. We shall return when we are next over. Thank you for a great all round expierence.
