Betsabe W Absolutely delicious food and generous portions at good prices. First time visiting this restaurant and loved the food and so did the husband and kids. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would recommend if you’re out in town.

Pieter Eksteen Classic country pub with outstanding gastro-pub food. Really enjoyable experience for lunch - the three of us each had a different dish, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Helpful, friendly staff and an easy reservation made the Gamekeepers a must visit again.

Jamie Fantastic venue with open kitchen. Very relaxed but with a premium feel. Food 10/10 with a real walk through the experience - we had the tasting menu. The wine flight was also fantastic and the staff attentive but without being over bearing. Wine knowledge and wine flight 10/10. Would recommend. Wish we had turned up earlier and had a drink in the bar. Would recommend. Will return. If the tasting menu is that good I now want to try the mains and the Sunday roasts!

Its also great that they take into account the different spices levels we ask for, theyre the first place weve been to where they actually give mild items like pakoras when we ask for mild. Sean Dry We had our wedding at Barton’s Mill and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the staff were incredible from start to finish—friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Everything ran flawlessly and we felt completely looked after all day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommended.
