Sophia I recently hosted a surprise baby shower at The Tooting Tavern, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were able to view the venue beforehand, and on the day we had over 30 guests, making full use of the lovely garden space. Rachel and Ally guided us through the booking process, which was seamless and stress-free. The food on the day was absolutely delicious, huge compliments to the chefs! Despite it being such a large booking, every dish arrived hot, on time, and perfectly prepared. They even catered to special requests, which our guests really appreciated. A special shoutout goes to Daine and Brian, who took such great care of us throughout the event. Even while our guests were busy playing games, they made sure we were well looked after right until the end of the evening. The cocktails were another highlight, so tasty and well-made. I will definitely be returning soon, both for the wonderful food and the warm, welcoming service. Thank you again to the whole team for helping us create such a memorable celebration!

Sarah Reed We have been having wonderful meals at The Red Lion for a number of years when we visit the area. A dog friendly pub (often a good sign) set in a convenient location with plenty of parking. The food is exceptional, genuinely the best we have had in the Cotswolds. I cannot adequately recommend it highly enough. The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy. A great team who are friendly and attentive. It is worth the long drive to have a meal at this beautiful pub.

David Billings We were kindly gifted this experience. Finding it was easy but the taxi driver drove straight past and we had to tell him to turn around. Its magical walking up into the area trees on each side. Its very natural ans rustic and charming. Small details all around add to the atmosphere. We had 3 complementary gin and tonics each! And got a bit merry. And the canapes were yummy..we stood in the right place as was offered loads and even had to resuse in the end as would have been full. Tables were beautifully decorated. And separated around the area. We had hoped to sit under the main tent but was directed to our allocated table with others. There are games dotted around to interact with if you want. We met a lovely couple and had a great evening. Some on our table did not interact as much but everyones experience is different I guess. The place became alive when it became darker with twinkly lights everywhere. Even the toilet was full of candles and lights. If you want to buy any more drinks they are expensive just be preparred. The food was good serves on wooden plates, and wooden cutlery, and more of a shared style of passing the food around the table. The evening was followed by marshmallow toasting and tea which we missed as was enjoying the prosecco too much. Think we were the last ones to leave...had so much fun with pictures on the giant deckchair at the end. Luckily we had fantastic weather but can imagine a very different experience if raining.

Megan Georgia We booked the function room for our wedding, where we opted for the buffet food. The staff were brilliant and so helpful, cutting our wedding cake up and handing out to our guests, helping move tables and chairs out the way for the dancing, they really went above and beyond to make our day amazing. The food was tasty, such a great selection and so much of it as well. We all had such a lovely evening. Would recommend and a big thank you to all the staff!

Sourav Ghosh The burritos live up to the hype. Great place to grab a hearty breakfast when the weather is nice. They have ample seating, plus a few standing tables.
