jon new Had the 5 course taster menu today with some treats in between. It was delicious every single item was perfectly cooked with wonderful flavours and good portions for a taster menu. They definitely deserve their Michelin star. All the staff were a joy and service could not have been better. We live a good distance away but it was well worth the trek. I cant recommend it enough.

A La Turka Whitstable - Kent

Rating: 4.4 /5
Shivani Narayandas This turkish restaurant has amazing food, good ambience and the service is top notch. I recommend the chicken sarma bayti, it was delicious and the pide is amazing. Trying a bit of everything is always my policy. Ending it with the baklava dessert was just the cherry on top thats needed.

DoD Pizza (Disk of Dough) - Kent

Rating: 5 /5
Cameron Marks Come to this place on lunch breaks sometimes and it bangs. The lad whipping the pizza is sound and he makes a mean pizza. I get the Hot Dod and I pretty much burn my mouth every time because I can’t wait for it to cool down so I shove it straight in. In the harbour so the scenery is lush, great gaff.

Daniel Peters WOWSA.... what a place. I have been wanted to go here for ages, and finally managed to arrange it, and WHY have I not been here before! The food is just stunning, so so yummy. There was 4 of us, and we ordered 10 dishes, which was just perfect, and every bit of the plate was eaten and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was amazing, such lovely ladies. We will be now regulars to this place, it was a real MUST VISIT!
the pearsons arms

The Pearsons Arms - Kent

Rating: 4.1 /5
Giles Polglase I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Pearsons Arms in Whitstable, and honestly, it’s exactly what you want from a seaside pub. While the exterior might look unassuming, stepping inside is like getting a warm hug. It instantly feels welcoming, especially on a chilly day, thanks to that lovely open fire crackling away in the hearth. When I visited it was very busy, and there was nowhere to sit which was a pity. What I particularly appreciate is that The Pearson’s Arms operates as a genuine free house. This means they aren’t tied to one single brewery, and it shows in their selection. The range of real ales, local Kentish brews, and fine wines on offer is genuinely impressive and clearly curated with care. Its fantastic to have such freedom of choice when youre looking for the perfect accompaniment to the sea air. I went for lunch, opting for a seasonal seafood dish, which was clearly made with locally-sourced ingredients and expertly cooked. The upstairs dining area, with its fantastic views over the bay, gives it a gastro-pub feel, while the bar downstairs retains that proper, cozy English pub charm. Now, a crucial tip: if you plan on visiting for their renowned Sunday roast or just a weekend meal, booking a table is absolutely advisable. I saw just how busy it gets—the place was absolutely packed! Dont risk turning up without a reservation, or youll likely face a long wait. Its a highly popular spot for a very good reason. I’m already planning my next trip back; it’s a perfect slice of Kentish coastal hospitality.

Le Petit Café - Kent

Neil Denny We found a lovely Cafe in Whitstable at the end of the High Street, start of Harbour Street. There was a cosy atmosphere, great coffee and a warm welcoming service. My wife loved the homemade Sunburst apple cake, and my Croque Monsieur hit all the right spots. Next time I am going to try one of the delicious looking Galettes and an authentic Breton Cider……can’t wait!!
