5 /5 Mia Freeman: There’s such a unique, cosy and quirky feel to the restaurant. We ate in the library and we could see the giant strawberries on the ceiling. I love places that have a lot of personality. My favourites were the paella with chicken and saffron and the patatas bravas!

3 /5 JOrdkin Smith: I was extremely disappointed by my experience at Dar. I came once before several years ago, had a lovely time and was left with an amazing impression of the restaurant in my head. I booked again this time for my girlfriend’s birthday, expecting to give her an excellent dining experience. Unfortunately the quality has slipped MASSIVELY. Every single dish had the same odd burnt taste, the bartender wasn’t in so we weren’t able to order any cocktails, even simple dishes like chicken were burnt and hard to cut. I am now wishing I had taken her elsewhere which is a real shame as I wanted to make it a very special birthday for her. I sadly won’t be coming back.

5 /5 Jewelisland _: Such a nice restaurant. Very friendly staff and good food. It’s a lovely place for dinner and lunch. The lamb and octopus are must try. Recommend. :)

1 /5 Gene *: My partner and I popped into the restaurant, behind a mother and daughter. They were offered a choice of tables in the front of the restaurant. We werent offered the table the didnt want in the front, we were taken to the back and offered a table there. It smelt of drains. We didnt stay - our treatment made me feel uncomfortable.
