Raj Jas Wow! Finding this in Balham was surprising... lovely outdoor seating, balcony and lots of indoor too. The outdoor seating felt cosy and away from the busy life around as it had tastefully been decorated with plants. The service was so friendly and so much choice of drinks. Food was delicious. I had the beetroot salad with prawns and my friend had the full English at 1pm! Great place to hire out too as there was 2 upper floors to do so.

Amazing food and staff are brilliantly accommodating, will recommend anything on the menu, prices are on a bit of upper side but you will taste the quality of the ingredients . Wish they had better selection of beers/ales as when we visited most of the ales were finished. Would recommend to book in advance as the place gets pretty busy. But staff are very friendly and i am sure they will try to accommodate you if you just walk in.

The space is thoughtfully designed with a contemporary edge, featuring warm lighting and comfortable seating that invites lingering conversations. What truly elevated the mood was the spot-on selection of jazz music playing softly in the background—smooth, unobtrusive, and perfectly complementing the lively yet relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of setting that makes you forget the hustle outside and fully immerse yourself in the evening. Service was a standout highlight, thanks to our attentive server, Saqlene. He anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and efficiency, from recommending pairings to ensuring our glasses were never empty. His professionalism and enthusiasm added a personal touch that made the meal feel truly special—kudos to him for making us feel like valued guests throughout. Now, onto the food: East Eatery delivers on its promise of bold, flavoursome dishes. Maria Androne If I could give -100 I would. How can you charge these prices for whatever THAT was that I ate? Ordered 2 halloumi burger and 2 fries and I received a wet mess. Horrible horrible. Honestly those cheap microwave burgers from Sainsburys taste better than that food and the fries had a very bad taste. Pls pls pls DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I cant stress enough how bad it is
