Simon Fisher A second visit this week as we were so impressed by the Sunday carvery. Friday is pie day, (2 for £20 at the time of writing!) I had the most amazing beef and Guinness pie served with mustard mash and a red wine gravy. You get a choice mash, my wife had horseradish, both were delicious! All food is prepared in house! Good wholesome nosh! (Check out the carvery - see other reviews!) Recommend both!! Recommend booking as it was very busy!

nuddaaa Got their Matilda cake, cappuccino, americano and karak chai. All the drinks were great however the karak chai was more doodh pathi. The Matilda cake was a little dry but we just asked for more chocolate sauce and they happily added it which was a game changer. The swings table was a nice touch. Overall would come back mainly because their service was excellent.

Maria Martinez We were on our way to buy coffee and breakfast at the supermarket before continuing our trip when an amazing smell stopped us in our tracks—fresh coffee and toasted bread coming from this local salumeria. We checked the menu board outside and were surprised by the incredibly fair prices, especially for this city. They offered a wide selection of sandwiches with thoughtful, delicious combinations. We ordered two coffees, two sandwiches, and an apple pastry £15 Everything was made fresh on the spot. The sandwiches were prepared with great care, and the coffees had an authentic Italian touch—rich, aromatic, and perfectly crafted. The person who served us was exceptionally kind and even allowed me to swap an ingredient in my sandwich just to make sure I was happy. I truly hope more people discover this place. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Nikki Bidecka We had a really lovely experience at Prezzo and wanted to say a special thank you to our waitress, Penelope. We often come here with my parents because it’s one of our favourite places to eat together, and every visit is always enjoyable. Penelope was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. She checked in at just the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and her warm personality really added to the whole evening. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great, but Penelope’s excellent service truly stood out and made our visit even more special. Thank you for such a pleasant dining experience.

Rie Great restaurant in the middle of Windsor, I really felt I was back in a good french restaurant. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, tables, linens, wares, all perfect! A lady at another table had a birthday and we all who were dining sang a happy birthday song for her, it was very memorable and lovely. Thank you for the great food and a memorable evening, we will be back again!! It is a popular restaurant, please remember to make a reservation!

Alexey Subach Exceptional experience with their special Valentine’s Day tasting menu. The interior was nice, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the cutlery and crockery were really great. The bread with leek butter were simply amazing - the bread was warm and custom made and the butter was uncommon and delicious. The scallop croustade was good although the flavour was a bit on the simpler side (classic scallop and citrus combination) - still a good starter. Tuna tartare was amazing, halibut dish wasn’t perfect as the fish was overcooked in my opinion but the sauce was out of this world and put everything in order. The duck breast was truly great as well - tender with a crusty skin and paired well with the beetroot which wasn’t overly earthy. The dessert - chocolate mousse - was a bit on the simpler side and the crusty but was a bit too hard but still the balance was there and this was a pleasant dish with a nice twist of burnt grapefruit. Overall, this is one of those experiences where the value for money is clear. Forest cocktail was great - the flavours were rich and silky. The only small downside was that the cream on the top was a bit difficult to sip with the cocktail itself. All in all, a great place which I recommend especially for occasions when they have those tasting menus as the chef is really talented.
