5 /5 Simone Wang: It felt just like being back in Taiwan!! I loved the Sesame Oil Noodle, braised pork rice, pork rib soup and hot grass jelly dessert ,all were authentic. The mulled kaoliang was a lovely surprise too!! The restaurant has a warm Taiwanese vibe and feels really cosy!!

5 /5 Yves Wu: Have heard this place opened for not long ago and finally got a chance to visit with friends. Its so nice to be able to enjoy authentic Taiwanese food in London especially many Taiwanese street foods that I have been dream about. The Taiwanese fried chicken was juicy and tender, the cabbage was spot on, pork trotters was so well cooked.. We really enjoyed the meals that we ordered. The only disadvantage is the location is bit out of central London and west end, which need make special journey to visit it, but I definitely will go back again...

5 /5 sjuniat: The food was a bit slow but it was excellent. The fried chicken is delicious! Thin breadcrumb layer and juicy. The dumplings were also very good - you can actual taste the pork and prawn like it should be. And most of all I loved having a proper authentic soup. The portions are intended to be tapas style and are very small which is really the only drawback. Still, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

5 /5 Susan Yen: Review update : Since I first reviewed Ive visited a few more times, I changed the service from 4 stars to 5 because I can tell after the initial opening period the service has gotten the hang out things, while they may be quite busy but as long as you get their attention I really appreciate the warmth and responsiveness of the team . Also may I just say, Ive recently unfortunately gotten the flu / covid? (yes that time of the year it seems) , and luckily I have a jar of the golden kimchi in my fridge. As soon as I regained my appetite, the first thing I craved was the kimchi. Thia golden kimchi is not spicy but still got a zesty fresh kick to it and its fermented with apple in addition to other ingredients that provides the healthy good gut bacteria, that I think my body naturally craved and needed. Honestly no joke, finished the bottle in two meals and I do believe it is whats helping to speed up my recovery. I felt 80% better back to normal from covid by day four, and I had kimchi on day three and day four. Again its a personal opinion but I highly recommend people stock a jar or two of this golden kimchi at home ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Im obsessed with the gluten free fried chicken and pork chops, I love the Taiwanese stable which is stewed pork over rice, the golden kimchee which is a much more refreshing and slightly sweeter type of kimchee than your usual Korean ones. And love the cabbage as well as the noodle dishes, for me its the beef noodle dish that does it for me as well. If you are a vegetarian I would recommend the stewed mooli or pickled version and tofu dishes. Do absolutely love the chicken soup .... Yes I have pretty much tried all the dishes. The service is good, did not give a 5 star YET only because its a new restaurant and I know the servers are just getting into their rhythm and routine. I trust that things will all get going onto a great flow soon. Im just super pleased and happy theres a Taiwanese Tapas near me now. Oh I must say I love all the drinks Ive tried, finally something different and unique.

3 /5 TT: Genuinely authentic Taiwanese flavors, but most of the other dishes arrived noticeably cold. For example when I asked about the braised beef noodles, the staff explained that the noodles are rinsed under cold water and meant to be served warm, but ours were closer to cold. Having lived in Asia and visited Taiwan many times, I’ve never had Taiwanese noodles served at that temperature. A suggestion would be to keep the braised meat separate and serve the noodles reheated or in a warm bowl. The braised pork rice had an authentic flavour, but it lacked the rich, slightly gelatinous texture that typically makes the dish so comforting. Overall, there’s clear potential, but improvements in temperature and texture would make the experience much better.
