Clifford’s restaurant - City of London
AyĹźe Nur Ăślker I recently visited Cliffords and immediately wanted to try their First Table offer. Initially, I wasnt sure if the place was open from the entrance, but it turned out to be a wonderful Italian restaurant in the basement. The ambiance was really nice.
The staff were exceptionally attentive to allergens and were very polite and friendly. We were planning to order the arancini and meatballs, but our waiter informed us that the meatballs were a pork-beef mix, so we decided not to get them. The arancini was truly exceptional.
We then ordered the mushroom pizza and buffalo pizza. We would have loved to stay and enjoy the atmosphere for hours, but unfortunately, we were in a bit of a hurry and had to leave. The kitchen team did an excellent job, and since we were the first customers of the First Table offer, they sent us Nutella donuts on the house. I must say, it was the best warm donut I’ve ever had. The cinnamon and orange zest created a fantastic aroma.
Overall, it was an amazing experience.
