Laurel Mittenthal Delicious fish and chips, tasty soft drinks—try the house special mango-mint lemonade!—and friendly helpful owner. Menu has a range of other options (which we haven’t tried yet) including halal burgers and homemade sauces for the hand-cut lovely chips/fries. Highly recommended!

Moniek Lukkes I walked over from Blenheim Palace for a Sunday roast at the Woodstock Arms. I dont think I have had a bigger, tastier Sunday roast than the one I got served here. The beef was delicious, with all the classic staples: yorkshire pudding, gravy, potatoes and veg. Delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and didnt mind at all that I took up the table for a while because I was painting and drawing.

Philip Dexter Enjoyed a lovely meal here. Real treat. First time having Steak Frites, got the Onglet without a sauce and Im glad I did, first time having jus de viande (reduced meat juices) which was incredible. Simple but complemented the steak so well. Their bread was a real treat as well. The service was friendly and flawless. Really set the tone for the meal being greeted by a warm welcoming host. Not the cheapest but Im happy to pay for quality food and service. Next time Im down Oxford Ill be sure to go back.

Nancy Xu The Turkish restaurant near bicester village outlet is perfect. Food are nice, environment is good , waiters are all good , especially Baran, give us good recommendations on food choice and also complimentary bread and dessert for us. It’s totally 5 star restaurant.

sushant tiwari Review for Lavender Restaurant It’s the main restaurant at the Weston Manor and is based in the ground floor overlooking the beautiful manicured lawns and gardens of the Manor House. It’s got a terrace outside as well which was closed when we visited but looks like a nice place for a drink before the dinner ( in summers ). The food was delicious and we tried the scallops / Ham as starters and steak / pasta for mains. All the dishes were well made and of good quality and standard. The steak with peppercorns sauce was tender and juicy. The pesto pasta was very tasty too. The pricing is on par for any good restaurant or a gastro pub in Cotswolds. Meal for 2 can be easily 200 depending on how many drinks you have. The tiramisu was an interesting version of the original Italian version, it was ok but that was the only thing which in my opinion can be made better or maybe go for the classic style. Thistle and Jasmine Went in on a Wednesday night and no issues at all with not having a booking. Seated and served very quickly. They have a good diverse menu. I got the satay chicken skewers to start and thought they were excellent! Best I’ve had in a while. I had the duck fried rice and kung po chicken as a main. Lot of flavour in both and very nice. Duck fried rice was a bit grisly in places but to be expected with duck. Very good portion size and a lot of flavour. The kung po chicken was great too, lot of flavour and a little kick too it. I would maybe have liked it a bit spicier but it was still very nice. Overall, very good restaurant, nice atmosphere, great attentive staff. I would definitely come again if in the area.
