Jamal Bullen Absolutely loved our visit to The Bull in Brentwood! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s incredibly child-friendly, which made the whole experience even better for our family. The menu offers a fantastic selection of classic pub food, all cooked to perfection and served piping hot. We especially appreciated the spacious outdoor area—a perfect spot to relax while the kids played safely. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. A real gem of a pub with a warm atmosphere and something for everyone!

Kate Wilson I booked the room upstairs for a late lunch for our sketching group - such a beautiful room overlooking the river with fantastic views. Vas was so helpful. We ordered drinks and food as we came in, and were able to sketch looking out of the windows both before and after eating. We stayed well into the afternoon, and had the room to ourselves. My toasted sandwich with salad and sweet potato chips was excellent, as was the non alcoholic ale. A thoroughly enjoyable experience - and so much better than expected given previous reviews. But I understand the pub is under new management. Can highly recommend.

Mrs Mcellan Headed in for a quick late lunch and really loved the food. However I feel compelled to write this review as the service wasn’t great at all. It seemed they did not care much about my visit or explaining the menu to me, even after I mentioned I had never visited before and was confused about the ordering/payment process. No recommendations, no words exchanged when serving/leaving, not even a ‘Enjoy’ or ‘Thank you’. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it seemed like a really hostile and cold environment. I hoovered up my food in 10 minutes and left, asking my leftovers to simply be wrapped up. I suppose + points for fast food so I could leave quicker :( I have had friendlier service getting McDonald’s Drive Thru so I really expected more for a ‘Restaurant’ experience.

Harshil Rajani We had a lovely breakfast at Kensington Creperie. Avocado on sourdough toast was fresh and tasty and banana split crepe was sweet and delicious. Outdoor seating had such a vibrant and lively vibe.
