1 /5 Rupam Srivastava: Bad experience. Ordered food for takeaway at 10.30. Person on phone started insisting I order a particular item i.e. Vegetable Achari. Like what? U must be joking!! First time ever it has happened that I have called a restaurant and the person on the other side instead of asking me what do I want to order is telling me...take vegetable achaari! Anyways managed to convince him I wanted to have a paneer dish, I dont mind what type. Collected the food and reached home. Opened the bag and drum roll!!!! OUT COMES VEGETABLE ACHAARI!! NEVER VISITING THIS PLACE AGAIN. On top of it, look at the quantity of serving and the amount of oil floating on their world famous VEGETABLE ACHAARI!

5 /5 4062 H: Absolutely fantastic Indian restaurant! Everything I have tried from the menu so far has been delicious. The curries are full of flavour and they do a great sag aloo. I highly recommend their Saffron platter starter! The food is very good value for money, the staff extremely welcoming and the restaurant is nice and clean with a great atmosphere. I have been looking for an Indian restaurant as good as this for a long time so Im very pleased I have found this place. I cant wait to come back and try some more of their dishes.

5 /5 Pat John: On a business down from Manchester to Croydon I found a quality Indian cuisine at Saffron restaurant in Purley. The staff are extremely friendly & professional, the food is quality at reasonable prices. The food is very tasty, had a chicken tikka starter & a mixed special main course. All good. I would recommend Saffron restaurant to anyone on a business trip, anyone whos visiting the South or living there. Thanks again to the staff of Saffron.
