Philippa Perryman Love this place, its fun being able to order from the kitchen outside and eat inside with drinks ordered from the bar. It creates a lovely fun atmosphere and is a bit different. Definitely recommend. We had the nicest, poshest chicken burgers!

muddy snoopy I’ve lost count of how many lunches I’ve enjoyed here. It’s a hidden gem of authentic Malay/Chinese stir-fry goodness in Brighton. Everything is so delicious - I can never get enough, and not once have I been disappointed.

Ashna Mosses I recently tried the Mandi from Coconut, and it was a delicious experience! The presentation itself was impressive — large platters of fragrant rice topped with perfectly grilled chicken, garnished with fresh herbs and served with lemon wedges for that extra zest. The chicken was tender, juicy, and well-marinated, with a smoky grilled flavour that paired beautifully with the mildly spiced, buttery rice. The Mandi rice was aromatic and perfectly cooked — fluffy, not greasy, and full of subtle spices. Each plate came with a side of fresh salad (crisp lettuce, carrots, and onions) and two dipping sauces — one creamy mayo and one tangy, spicy sauce that really elevated the meal. The portion sizes were generous, easily enough for sharing, and the overall presentation was clean and inviting. The atmosphere in the restaurant was calm and modern, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a hearty meal.

The Arcades Fish Restaurant -

RESITA I recently visited The Arcades Restaurant in Worthing and had a really enjoyable experience. I ordered the fish and chips, along with octopus – which I tried for the very first time. The fish and chips were excellent. But the standout for me, though, was the octopus. Having never tried it before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a real highlight. It was tender, perfectly cooked, and had a subtle, delicate taste. I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the service matched it – attentive without being intrusive. Overall, The Arcades delivered a great dining experience that balanced classic seaside favorites with something a little more adventurous. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Worthing.

Saskia Carr What a fantastic place to have a staff party! The food was so fresh and delicious! The service was very attentive and incredibly well organised! The place was absolutely heaving but none of the staff seemed stressed and all handled it very well. It really allowed us to be present and enjoy each others company. Huge thanks to everyone there - kitchen team, bar staff, and service staff!
