1 /5 Antony Nektarios: I recently visited The Greyhound Pub and honestly left disappointed. I ordered a beer and sat down at a table that was sticky and unclean, which immediately ruins the mood when all you want is to relax and enjoy your drink.
But the biggest problem wasn’t the table - it was the music. The playlist was completely lifeless, filled with slow and uninspired tracks that drained all the energy from the room. It didn’t make me want to enjoy my beer - it made me want to finish it and leave.
A good pub should make you want to stay for a second, third, or even fifth beer, not send you home after one. The atmosphere here gives you no motivation to stay or enjoy yourself.
Honestly, the owners should take a look at how pubs and beer halls work in Greece - where the music has heart, passion, and energy, and people actually feel good, have fun, and keep ordering more drinks. That’s what a real pub experience should feel like.
Play some real rock music from the ’70s, ’80s, or ’90s - classics from artists like Ozzy, Guns and Roses, Simple Minds, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, or Oasis - songs that make people smile, sing along, and enjoy their beer. That’s the kind of energy that brings customers back.
Right now, this place is missing the soul and atmosphere that every good pub needs.
And that’s a loss for the business, not the customer.
