3 /5 Minkee Chong: We booked this spot for a Sunday roast based on glowing reviews. The staff were genuinely delightful attentive, friendly, and a highlight of the visit.The food was pleasant but underwhelming for the price. Roast potatoes were noticeably undercooked, and while other elements were solid, nothing stood out as exceptional. Despite a reservation, we were seated at a cramped table barely suitable for two uncomfortable and poorly managed for a pre-booked party. A cozy atmosphere and excellent service can’t fully offset the lack of flavor punch and poor value. At these prices, expectations should be met, not just approached. Fine for a casual visit, but not a standout roast experience. 3/5.

4 /5 Louise Wilks: We went here for a Sunday roast, after reading lots of great reviews. The food was nice enough (though the roast potatoes were undercooked), and the staff were absolutely lovely. However, I didnt feel the food was tasty enough to warrant the price. We were also squeezed onto a tiny table, only really big enough for one, despite making a reservation. It was okay overall, but didnt feel like good value for money.

5 /5 Centaurus Eurythion (Saggitarius Rex): We visited this restaurant located in Brixton right next to the Briton Village entrance. A lively gastropub with an amazing staff. The hostess was a girgeois woman who welcomed us like we were coming home from work. The chef does a marvelous job with the shirt ribs, pork belly and the ribs! The chocolate mouse was sift and delicate and the gin and tonics spot on! Visit this establishment when in Brixton. Cimpliments to the chef!!!

5 /5 Hugh Smithson-Wright: Another wonderful visit to this favourite local restaurant, this time for brunch before eating film at the nearby Ritzy. Delightful, welcoming service, great coffee and juices, and fabulous food – The Dirty, two poached eggs (though you can have them any way), hash browns, homemade horseradish cream, bloody Mary ketchup and goddess dressing on sourdough was great value at £14, and in fact the bill overall felt very reasonable for such quality. Love The Laundry every time!

3 /5 RiLel: I am disappointed by the food and selection. Sunday roast has only 3 main dishes, so we had not a lot to select from, and both of us were not impressed with it. Potatoes were undercooked, carrots overcooked, the bun(or whatever it was) - super greasy. Overall, I feel like the food was way bellow the price. If you give a selection of 3 dishes, it should be perfectly cooked at least. The service was a bit too long, but nice.
