1 /5 KN Fruitbat: Ordered via their app. It said the delivery would be about 8:30pm. Called but getting no answer. Contacted them and they said it was a problem with their grill it would be there soon, and put the phone down. Order arrived at 10:30pm when kids had gone to bed, driver wouldnt take it back because they had closed. Order wasnt even complete or anything like advertised. Side orders missing, food cold, banoffee pie must have been run over it was so different to menu picture. Contacted them via the chat option in their app. Was told by foodhub that they would deal with it the next day as TZ now shut, next day apparently manager not there, third day apparently not their problem speak to takeaway directly. What is the point of having a chat service that just wastes peoples time?
Banoffee pie looks good on their menu, what arrived looked grey, no fruit or anything else, looked like it had been driven over by the delivery driver, not even vaguely similar. Mash stone cold, wedges didnt show up, rest of the food had been cooked at some point but not recently, all cold.
After three days of chasing them, the manager gets on the phone and offered me a free portion of wedges (the wedges that I paid for but didnt show up, so not free at all) and 15% off my next order.
Mistakes can be made, they regularly are at this place, but order arrives over 2hrs after it was supposed to, not as ordered, cold and not fit for consumption. Insult me with, "we will send you the wedges with your next order" that is not dealing with the issue, that is robbery. Terrible customer service, totally unreliable and rude. Food is actually pretty good when it turns up within normal timeframes, but dont expect to get what you ordered or paid for.
