Lee Shoebridge Top tier chicken! Lovely staff and very helpful, served by Kathy today, cant fault the service. Its certainly not the cheapest but I feel the quality goes a long way and is worth while. Was rather hungry and may have over ordered but was quickly asked if I wanted a takeaway bag so theres no waste. Will certainly return.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in, and the whole setting has a relaxed vibe with nice, chilled music in the background. They were really helpful when I was choosing from their wide variety of dishes and even tailored a curry to be the perfect medium spice for me. The naan bread was absolutely amazing, and with such a great selection on the menu there’s definitely something for everyone. Highly recommend! Peter Barratt A Hampshire curry house with a difference, Chennai Express is a welcome change from the norm! South India style, with lovely spice mixtures, and a very varied menu, with lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options. The dosas are great - the size of a roll of wallpaper with delicious sauces and chutneys. The service is great too, and theres an eclectic mix of customers in this cosy but modern little restaurant. Ill be back!
