Amy P Had an amazing dining experience here. Ordered the red thai curry, Panang curry, massaman curry, and the pad thai and it was hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had! The customer service was amazing, food came out really quickly, and such affordable prices. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Penny William My favorite dish of all time is their duck noodles! I once ordered a whole duck and ate it most of it, I felt like my fat sweats smelt of duck. Please eat the duck! It’s so good!

Elizabeth Davy We were looking for a breakfast in Croydon, and went to 5 different cafes before finding Golden Chef! The staff were immediately warm and hospitable, and we found the tables very clean and spacious. The food came quickly, was really tasty (we had a full English variation) and well priced. I also had a lovely coffee. Thank you Golden Chef for a lovely breakfast!

Supersupergirl This place has always been here never but never tried until today because they do grilled chicken. The menu was annoying as half of it was not displaying like the chicken with rice that I got. I was charged 6 pounds for that and it comes with a drink. With grilled chicken it always takes ages but mine was ready in a flash yet the skin was still crispy. I still had some rice left so decided to get some more wings which are 3.50 on the menu for 6. Again, I was just about to sit down and they were ready. Oddly I found 8 but possibly they were small so gave 2 extra? Overall it was delicious especially the wings. The chicken was good but there was something odd about the taste. It was either the grill or the oil that doesnt taste clean.

Arun Chandrasekaran A colleague of mine took me this small and cozy Kurdish restaurant and told me not to underestimate the taste and the quality of the food by the look of it. He was right. I have had Greek cuisine, Lebanese cuisine, Persian cuisine, Iraqi cuisine and so on in various countries. But none of them comes close to this restaurant. This is the best middle Eastern restaurant outside of middle East without doubt. Their cuisines have an authentic taste to them. Their kabobs are juicy and very tasty. I love their thin breads with tasty curry. Try their lentil soup and Mashtaw which is made of butter milk, lemon juice and salt. The food is not expensive for the quality of the food. Must visit for any foodie!!
