What Clients Are Saying Boulevard Bookshop & Thai Cafe (GG)
5 /5 Jamie-Lee Rudrum: Absolutely incredible food in an incredibly quirky setting. Food was fresh and service was quick. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Im a fussy eater and dont like spicy food so loved that I could choose how hot I wanted my meal, from mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Couldnt fault a thing!
5 /5 Alice Stedman: Best Thai food Ive had outside of Thailand. I had the mango salad and tofu massaman. Both absolutely delicious. Lovely staff and perfect setting. I went on a quiet Tuesday evening but Im sure when its busy it only adds to the experience.
5 /5 Brent Haslett: Literally a bookshop by day and a small Thai restaurant by night. Lovely food and friendly staff. Really nice ambience sitting at a small table among the floor to ceiling shelves full of books. Well worth a visit but they dont serve alcohol so take your own (£2 per person charge which seems very reasonable) and it is cash only.
5 /5 Ljubica Banic: Lovely small place… they only serve Thai food, the restaurant or bookshop is very small and crowded but the food was tasty and the service was impeccable. They serve set menu food. You can bring your own alcohol they charge extra £2 per person. Is cash only payment. The Toilet was impeccable
5 /5 Chris Chan: Authentic Thai food with a warm & welcoming atmosphere.
Recommend the Chicken Satay & Massaman Beef; both fall apart tender, you can taste the time and effort put in for sure!
So easy to walk past this little gem of a place with so much character.
Had a young waiter on his first day and he did a wonderful job!
Maybe only thing missing was some quiet music to play in the background, but other then that, A*! (cash only)
David Great fish and chips. Made to order and reasonably priced. The chaps serving the food gave me extra chips whilst I waited too which was nice of them.
Ilona P only Filipinos know that this place is 10/10 every time and the bad reviews are people who aren’t used to the carinderia style of eating/filipino food.
Been here 3 times and recently was Sunday night. Staff are obviously very friendly, service was great - food came quick and was exactly how I expected it to be.
The combo meal is actually a very good portion for one person. We got the lechon kawali and pork sisig combo meal and had sinigang to share. Again, the portion for sinigang was great for two people and we even had enough left over to takeaway. The lechon lawali and pork sisig combo meal portions were great and I was shocked how much meat they gave since other Filipino restaurants will serve half of that portion for nearly double the price.
I really love to visit this restaurant every time we visit London as it makes me feel so nostalgic of back home. I always bring my non-filipino, English friends to try the food so they can taste authentic Filipino food and they have always enjoyed it!
T B The restaurant is in a busy location, and the environment was really friendly. The service was absolutely brilliant. Sinead served us and was so friendly and kind. She listened and delivered great service with a smile. All the dishes arrived within a good time and we were checked in on a few times. The food was really tasty, especially the sea bream and the charred corn ribs. I could have eaten another plate!
Kul Bajar Incredible food and flavours , and very large place inside . I will definitely be back , the steak, croquettes and other tapas are very flavourful.
Olivia is a very talented person , she makes you feel so welcome with her presence and smile.
Stephanie Du Preez Lovely Italian restaurant in North Finchley, service is warm, friendly and welcoming. If you like your golden oldies like me then the music will add to the experience. Food was exceptional, easily the best Lasagna I have ever had. If you live in the area it might be useful to know that the 263 bus stops only a few feet away. Highly recommend this Italian gem!
