5 /5 Ian Stokoe: My partner and I discovered this wonderful cafe by accident and it has now become a firm favourite. The food is delicious with a generous portion and good value for money. All staff are friendly and welcoming, they make you feel part of a family, offering an excellent service. We would very much recommend this establishment and will probably see you there.

The two times i been there i had the mega breakfast, and once you leave the door you just want a good nap!!! Well done to the team for the great job that they have been doing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, and it was super filling too. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The atmosphere was lovely, especially sitting outside in the morning sun with my breakfast and two cappuccinos. 5 /5 Felix Gan: I was craving for some jacket potato and this cafe was nearby at Wanstead High Street. Clean and spacious cafe with lots of regulars hanging out there. Amazing service where staffs were friendly and welcoming. Jacket potato was delicious and really had fantastic experience here. Would come back in near future for other dishes.

Julie D We were gifted a sharing platter. Phoned to book the platter and arrange collection. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, the order was ready for collection as arranged. The food was delicious and more than enough for two. I would definitely use the Gurnard Press again and recommend.

Mike Nichols On my first visit to the isle of Wight my friend who owns a house here suggested this place and the "Life Changing Lasagne". I thought why not. On this particular night Monday the 2nd Feb we turned up to meet the owner who told us he was on his own but hed do his best. His best was outstanding! I loved the atmosphere and service.
