5 /5 Ryan Fleming: The Castle is just a great place to go on every level! The food is fantastic and genuinely 5 star, whether you pop in for a midweek meal or a Sunday roast. The service is brilliant and all the staff are friendly, warm and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Nothing is ever too much to ask! As for the atmosphere, well that’s just something else and if I could give more than 5 stars I would! At the weekend there is great entertainment scheduled every night (Friday-Sunday), from live singers/bands to karaoke, and it really is top draw! To anyone who hasn’t been, I would definitely recommend you get to The Castle!

5 /5 Dan Wheele: We came as a table of 4 with a child and no reservation and we were promptly seated by friendly and welcoming staff. We ordered burgers and they happily took the additions to each order, the value of the meals seemed good. The food itself was decent and well portioned hearty pub classics. The interior and furnishings were clean and comfortable and we all agreed wed be happy to go back again in the future. A different vibe to the old place for sure which is lovely to see. ✌️

5 /5 Alison Goodson: We came as a large multigenerational family group to celebrate my birthday. Dan welcomed us and ensured we received the best possible service throughout our visit. The pub was absolutely buzzing, and clearly everyone was having a fantastic time. The food was tasty, hot and well presented. Not one of us could fault our food, drinks or service. The kitchen also were happy to serve the birthday cake and candles provided by my daughter for our dessert. Added to this the value for money was second to none. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you to Dan and his team.

5 /5 Rachel Church: Brought my 94 year old Nan in for lunch again today, she’s actually quite a fussy customer and hard to please but iv brought her in 3/4 times now and she’s thoroughly enjoyed every meal including starters, mains and desserts. Shes enjoyed them as much as myself and my children. She also loves the fact they have smaller metal cutlery which is easier for her to use with her small arthritic hands. When we visit I have a pushchair with me and on every occasion the staff have been so friendly and helpful. The access is really good and disabled toilet/baby changing facilities easily accessible and very clean. Photo of the amazing well filled jacket potato and my favourite Pork Belly. 5 /5 Ethan Dallas: Ever since it’s been taken over it’s been AMAZING! We come here after football every single week and are constantly amazed by the lime sodas that we always love after football! Kerrie and all the girls are amazing. We had pizza today, and it was fantastic. Always love this pub! Highly, highly recommend.
