5 /5 David Melville: We visited on our 42nd Anniversary and enjoyed our experience immensely. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by the staff members. The restaurant ,bar and sitting area are very nicely presented. The food was excellent , great tastes and good portions. The menu was very good with a varied selection to suit all individuals who like their food. Definitely will be revisiting especially as we live close by.

5 /5 Brian Jones: Exceptional quality and service. Not to give the owner any ideas, we would have expected to have paid much more for this quality from the point of arrival to leaving. The restaurant is well designed and has a lovely atmosphere. The quality of service was faultless and made our visit even more special and it’s dog friendly. The choice of food is good and the quality was outstanding. We had the following: An amuse bouche (unexpected) of calamari with garlic mayo. Starters of Dorset snails, crispy duck, Main of partridge, slow roasted belly pork. Desert of whisky mandarin trifle, a cheese board. This is a special place and we have eaten at Michelin star restaurants, which were not as good as this.

Everything felt simple and harmonious — exactly how good evenings begin. The food here feels thoughtful and sincere, prepared with care and attention to detail. I especially want to mention the green salad with walnuts and blue cheese — a delicate combination of flavours that paired beautifully with the red wine and brought out its warmth. The fish, served with tomatoes, was tender and light. The tomatoes gently revealed its flavour without overwhelming it, but rather highlighting the natural freshness of the dish. Closer to eight o’clock the restaurant gradually filled with guests. Quiet conversations and light laughter created a warm background that gave the place a special sense of comfort and charm. Dessert was not part of this evening — but it is a good reason to come back again. And I certainly will.

5 /5 Dominic Ottaway: We have been to Colin Nash Restaurant a handful of times previously and every time the food and service we receive is amazing. The food being all from local suppliers is a massive plus and is always so fresh. Our visit yesterday was for our anniversary and I’m so glad we chose it. Both my wife and I throughly enjoyed every course and the chef even presented us with a happy anniversary plate with a few sweet goodies to enjoy. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants amazing food at a very reasonable price. 10/10 will definitely going back soon
