1 /5 Simon Burchett: Not good, lacking in staff, who were generally unenthusiastic. Breakfast got cold waiting in the queue for a pot of tea, and for the money, the quality of the food was dreadful.

3 /5 G Bernie: Went for a festive afternoon tea. Except Turkey and cranberry im not sure why it was festive. The afternoon tea was okay, cakes are pre made, sandwiches a little dry. Coffee was nice but there was clearly not enough staff on to cope with the Christmas rush. Poor staff that were on were overworked and trying their best.

1 /5 Brooklea Francis: Service - Terrible, disorganised, staff all doing their own thing, unnecessary long queues for food/drinks & even paying (lady kept disappearing from the till). Then over charged me for 3 breakfast (should have checked) Server for breakfast - Due to my mothers disability, she ordered her breakfast first but due to long queues, I was essentially told off saying its been waiting for 30mins, which is a lie (more like 10/15mins). As a carer, I dont expect to visit here on a pleasure trip out with my mother to be spoken to like this! Told I cant have an egg as a substitute for bacon because its not meat! Its all protein. Food - after all the waiting food quality is disappointing, sausage didnt look cooked, asked to cook poached eggs for longer (still v.runny). Mothers egg very dry, could only eat one. This could be a fantastic cafe/restaurant but needs the right people in management to run it right properly (effectively & efficiently). Shame, nice garden centre otherwise.

2 /5 Noddy: Went in yesterday for a cup of fruit tea. The hot water dispenser that displayed " boiling water" gave only warm water in the pot. When I asked the food counter for hot water they gave me a pot of normal tea. Then on the way out I noticed no notice saying out of service on the hot water dispenser. I think the whole restaurant has gone downhill and is becoming increasingly expensive with poor customer service. If you do not improve, you will lose more customers, especially us pensioners.

1 /5 Phoebe Langmaid: Almost no staff. Waited 50 minutes for our food and it came out warm not hot straight from the microwave
