4 /5 A Basnet: Saturday evening, went for a quick family dinner.
The place was quiet and I think some celebration was going on in the banquet hall.
It was cold inside the restaurant.
However, we enjoyed the food. The spicy pork slices were delicious.
I would recommend the place if you love Nepalese cuisine.

Absolutely love Golden Slip Restaurant! It’s our favourite spot in South Harrow. We tried the buff jhol momo, pork sekuwa, laphing, and chicken biryani — everything was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Nepali food and great hospitality!
5 /5 Winter Khorramdel Sychangco: Had my wedding party here and it was amazing. The food and service were on point and I definitely recommend the restaurant to everyone. Nepali-Indian food has never been more authentic than this. The owner and his family are all very friendly which is the icing on the cake.
4 /5 Siddhartha Khanal: The place is one of the better known fusion Nepalese places. The location was convenient to get to. Food was above average. However, the ambiance was not very inviting; was a bit noisy when we visited. It might have to do something about that day and it may not be such on other days.
Wed heard good things about the food especially momo but we did not find it to be worthy to be the talk of the town. On the flip side, chatpate and the chicken wings were absolutely smashing.
Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend to give it a go!
1 /5 Annu: We went there on 28th December and ordered £150+. They gave us only one but they charged for 2 chatpate . We got to know that when we checked the bills. Even while having the food the waiters were looking at us in an uneasy way and laughing which is not very comfortable for us. We ordered Nepali thalami set but they gave us butter chicken. I hope they could do better customer service. This was our first visit and I’m quiet disappointed.
Chathu Sam Amazing seafood and excellent service! Their SEAFOOD SHAVEL is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!
SHAMSHER SINGH Newa che Maya offers delicious, authentic Newari food with great flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly service and quality dishes make it a place I’d happily visit again. Highly recommended!
Shah Dilpesh (Tiku) STANDOUT LOCAL RESTAURANT FOR OVER 25 YEARS!!
Been coming to Ruby M for last 25 years and it just gets better & better.
It’s a small local place in Rayners Lane but one that’s definitely worth making the journey to come & visit.
The food is exceptional and never disappoints… highly recommend the Mushkaki, Sheekh Kebabs, Tandoori Wings, Maji Maji Chicken and Kheema.. although to be true all the dishes are great and cooked to perfection.
The service has always been impeccable whenever we have been there and a very special mention to Mahesh, Sacheet and Amresh plus all the other staff… very attentive and just a pleasure to be there.
Would highly recommend this place… really worth a visit.
Amit Kale Heard a lot about this place so decided to give it a try. We ordered two plates of samosa. There were made fresh and came pippin hot!! they were delicious no doubt..
however I feel the price point of £5 per plate is at higher side given there is no place to sit down and you are eating out of takeaway containers, standing in the cold in the market lanes.
There are several other eateries where you get same delicious or even tastier samosas which cost perhaps 40 - 60% less.
Definitely worth trying if one ignores the price point.
