5 /5 Daryl Monserrate: Traditional Afghan food that delivered. Brilliant 50% dining offer from Tuesday to Thursday that we took advantage off, opting for the Kabuli pulao. Heaping plate with the carrots and raising adding a great sweetness to the perfectly cooked rice. The lamb was delightfully tender and the daal paired well with it all.
5 /5 Omnia E: So glad we took a punt and tried this place. The food was so good! Service was excellent. They are the most polite people to deal with and can’t do enough for you. Price was very very reasonable. We will definitely be coming again
5 /5 Azaan khan: Kabul Palace never disappoints
The mantoo are some of the best we’ve had – soft, flavour-packed and covered in the creamiest yoghurt sauce. And the Kabuli pilau? Unreal. Fragrant rice with tender lamb, sweet carrots & raisins… elite combo.
One of our favourite Afghan restaurants!
2 /5 stephen tun: Just okie. Did not enjoy it though.
May be not our Taste.
Meat platter was okie.
Fair price. Good service
1 /5 Gingo Biloba: Order 1/2 kg lamb karahi and mix grill for takeaway. Unfortunately the meat was scarce when we came home and it was closer to 250g than anything. The meat mostly had boneless meat with excess fat. I was surprised that no meat with bones or bonemarrow was there. I only read the reviews later and worried whether I along with my family ate some leftover food? I spent £61 here. The taste of food was just okish and I was surprised that for a fusion of Afghan and Iranian the food taste level could be that low. I’ll never go there again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was really hungry and when you are hungry the food tastes even better but even then my taste buds were unsatisfied.
Rah Kumar Visited twice now and the food is lovely and definitely has an authentic taste of India. This a lovely restaurant if you would like to indulge in an Indian fine dining experience. Key stand outs for us were the veg Manchurian balls for starter (not photographed unfortunately!) and the lamb Rogan josh. The lamb was succulent and the curry was full of flavour with a medium spice.
Weekends can be very busy with families and dinner parties. The bar is part of the restaurant which means it can become a little loud but adds a lot of character to the restaurant if you dont mind that vibe. Overall very satisfying experience to dine in here.
5 stars given based on food taste and quality. Kindly note that the service could be improved a little as on both occasions we were kept waiting for our bill to arrive but understand that servers had to attend to the tables and bar.
We will be back soon!
G Haider Excellent service from staff and good standard food. The only criticism I have is that WC facility needs improvement and upgrading as they were not cleaned hence 4 star.
M A. Amazing food at Amigos Slough. Tried the buttermilk burger, popcorn chicken and supa fries. Everything was excellent, house-special sauces were really nice. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!
Kay A great place to either eat or grab on the go, very competitively priced. They have seating indoors to seat between 5-10 people but I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s too congested. Staff are also very friendly:).
Highly recommend it.
