New Sunflower Chinese Takeaway -

Scrubbing Sisters We have our go to Chinese, we have used them for 7 years running. Whenever there has been a reason to order elsewhere, we have always been disappointed. Trust when I say I’ve probably eaten at every Chinese place in Worthing! Tonight, I wanted a late night fix and seen they were a couple mins drive from me, open and offering everything I loved. Although it tasted completely different to what I’m used to, I put that down to their culture/background (I usually love mandarin styles), this food was absolutely gorgeous. Ordered and ready promptly, reasonably priced, best chips I’ve had from a takeaway for a long time, sharp but fragrant curry sauce to go with. Noodles were smaller than thought for a chow mein but flavour was lovely and perfectly put together.. so much meat. Also ordered a smoked chicken which tasted different to what I’ve had before, but this was so tasty, like a mixture of shredded chilli chicken and smoked chicken in one, bbq flavouring and incredibly moorish!

The Cinnamon Stick - Oxfordshire

Rating: 4.7 /5
VP We were so lucky to stumble upon The Cinnamon Stick. Located in the small village of Middle Barton where you’d expect nothing around, this restaurant is a total standout. It offers a true taste of Lebanese hospitality and home-style cooking. The quality of food is incredible. Almost everything is made in-house (except for the gelato), and you can really taste the difference. The dishes are authentic, fresh, and truly delicious. It is rare to find such high-quality Mediterranean flavors in this area. The staff is lovely and provides genuine Lebanese hospitality. You can tell the team cares about their guests and the food they serve. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. If you are anywhere near Oxfordshire, this place is worth the detour. Huge thanks to the team for their service and for bringing such amazing flavors to a quiet corner of the country!

Adrian o Loved it! Family run and proper Italian little gem. Pizza was amazing and pity I didn’t try the pasta!! Was very impressed with the service and no service charge added which was rare and appreciated when in London…of course I did give a good tip but was nice to have the option.

The Munch Plug ️ - Tower Hamlets

Lofty Virtues The Munch Plug is the kind of hidden gem that instantly captivates with its unpretentious vibe and indulgent comfort food. The menu is a curated mix of street food classics with a modern twist, each item designed to satisfy cravings at any hour. Food: The highlight of my visit was the Munch Burger, a massive stack of juicy beef, cheese, crispy bacon, and tangy sauce, all sandwiched between perfectly toasted brioche buns. The flavors were well-balanced, with the savory notes of the meat complemented by the slight sweetness of the bun. Every bite was a flavor bomb, but what really stood out was how fresh everything tasted. The loaded fries were another standout — piled high with gooey cheese, jalapeños, and a generous drizzle of spicy mayo. These were not your average fries; they were indulgent, but not overwhelming, offering a perfect crunch to gooey ratio. For a lighter option, I tried the Chicken Caesar Wrap. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and the Caesar dressing added just enough tang to make each bite interesting. Ambiance: The vibe at The Munch Plug is casual, with a dash of urban cool. It’s the type of place you’d hit up for a late-night meal or a laid-back dinner with friends. The space is small, but cozy, with hip-hop tracks playing softly in the background and graffiti-inspired decor that adds a street-style charm to the environment. Service: Service was quick and friendly, with the staff clearly passionate about the food they serve. Despite the popularity of the place, orders were prepared promptly, and the staff were more than happy to recommend dishes. Final Thoughts: The Munch Plug is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious, no-frills comfort food. With generous portions, bold flavors, and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s easy to see why it has become a local favorite. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or feasting with friends, The Munch Plug delivers every time. Highly recommend if youre a fan of comfort food done right! Rating: 9/10
