1 /5 Adithya Gopal: Absolutely unbelievable how this restaurant happens to be highly rated. I feel sorry for anyone thinking this is Indian food. This is anything but! The food is poor, literally no flavour. We ordered Rogan Josh, an iconic spicy Indian dish, and we got served a watery curry with more Tomatos than the meat. The mixed grill was equally bland, which is impressive in the worst possible way, considering how hard that is to get wrong. The food was so bad that we lost our appetite after taking a few bites. More than that, we were absolutely disappointed as it was supposed to be a good night out with "authentic" Indian food that I grew up eating. If anyone wants to experience real Indian food, please stay away. Im sorry if this review comes across as harsh, but the food was truly, without any dispute, the worst Ive had in my life.

1 /5 Relm Arrowny: Food is just really bland, nothing taste of anything and really lack any kind of seasoning, I am sure this is not the same the Chef of the Year at arta that prepared our food today. It is not all bad the boss curry was tasty and the specail rice was good... Service is very strange, we have made a booking but still have to wait for 15mins before we got to our table and even than we were sitting at the empty table and waited for what seem like a long long time(10mins or so) before anyone ask us for drink or bring the menu, but the staff was frendly and helpful. Place a very busy and noisy. I am sure I cought them on their off day but personally I would not risk it even at half price.

2 /5 Steven Clarke: We chose Mowgli’s for a birthday celebration and made a group booking in advance. When arranging it, I asked if we could have a set banquet, and was told this would include a starter, main dish, rice or bread, and a side order. However, when we arrived and began ordering, we were informed that it was actually a limited menu, which didn’t include many of the popular dishes. I spoke with the manager, who kindly agreed to add chicken tikka masala to the options, but we were then told that the banquet did not include a side dish — despite being told otherwise during the booking. When everyone was seated, poppadoms and sauces were brought to the table without being asked for or informed of any charge. We were later surprised to find a £40 charge for 20 poppadoms and sauces on the bill. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing, and due to the lack of clarity and unexpected charges, I wouldn’t be able to recommend Mowgli’s based on this.

1 /5 Kim Thomas: Very disappointed in our visit to this restaurant after hearing all the great things from friends. Had chicken tikka curry which was very bland and sauce was watery and very little chicken in the dish. Service wasnt great never asked if meal was OK or if we wanted more drinks or dessert we kind of just got left.

1 /5 john reidy: Dreadful experience. Chicken was over cooked, and just didn’t taste nice. Very small glass of Coke over £4, so would be over £8 for a pint. Only desert they had was mint ice cream. Very disappointed, and won’t be going back.
