Chenyu Shou Lovely man who loves his pork and chicken :) he’s super nice and gave us generous samples. We loved everything we ate there and the value is incredible! We got the 2 meat combo for £13 and it was enough to feed two!

Tailorm We came for my daughter’s 16th and the team couldn’t have been more thoughtful. The personalised menu, signed card and surprise dessert were lovely touches — but a special mention to Chloe, the sous chef, who spent time chatting with my daughter, showed her how dishes are plated, shared baking tips and even gifted her a loaf of their incredible sourdough. Outstanding hospitality. The food was outstanding: the snacks were clever and full of contrast, the sourdough had remarkable depth and crunch, the crab ravioli was beautifully delicate yet rich with flavour, and the venison main was cooked perfectly with great balance on the plate. The bread and butter pudding closed the meal on a comforting, refined note. A faultless experience — highly recommend.

Dean L Good food with good food hygiene and a clean shop which is hard to find at a chicken shop in the area. Food is hot and not too greasy and comes in good portion sizes. They also do chunky chips or skinny fries so you have a better selection. Been eating here for a while now and the food is consistent. Highly recommend this place if you want chicken and chips without a belly ache the next day.

No gimmicks, no pretence, just proper Thai cooking at its best. Every dish is packed with authentic flavour, perfectly balanced and beautifully cooked you can taste the freshness and passion in every bite. It’s the kind of food that instantly makes you want to come back. Stop wasting time at soulless Thai chain restaurants. If you haven’t tried Bangkok House yet, you are seriously missing out. This is the real deal and one of Oxford’s must-visit spots.
