Tanu We visited Preem Brick Lane a bit close to their closing time — it was almost 1:40 PM, and they were supposed to close at 2. At first, they kindly asked if we could take the food away, which was completely understandable. But we requested to dine in since we were celebrating our best friend’s birthday. To our delight, they agreed with such warmth and a smile — and that’s where the lovely experience began. Our food arrived within 10 minutes, and technically we had only about 10 minutes to eat, but not once did they rush us. We finished around 2:20, and the staff never made us feel uncomfortable or hurried. Instead, they made sure we felt welcome and relaxed the entire time. And the food — what can I say — absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served beautifully. But beyond the food, what truly touched us was their hospitality and kindness. We came to know that the staff were from Bangladesh — one from Rampura, Dhaka, who took our order and served us so warmly, and another from Sylhet, who first welcomed us in. Both were incredibly polite, humble, and genuinely friendly. It felt like being among our own people, far from home. It wasn’t just about eating and paying for food — it was about being treated with care, respect, and heart. The ambience was cozy, the atmosphere filled with that authentic warmth that makes a place memorable. We left with full hearts and happy smiles. Definitely a 10/10 experience — both for the food and for the people. If you’re ever around Brick Lane, do visit Preem Brick Lane. Lynne Ford-Atkinson Had a wonderful brunch in this fabulously quirky cafe. Didn’t photograph the food as photos wouldn’t do the meals justice but we had tuna baguette, and poached eggs (cooked to perfection!) on crusty bloomer toast - both meals were absolutely delicious! The food is excellently priced, and the cafe walls are adorned with memorabilia from the age of American Diners. Would definitely recommend this cafe and will certainly be returning.

Terry Barnes When they asked me how I’d like my burger cooked I just knew it was going to be a good experience. This burger bar was recommended to me by the hotel staff where I was staying and it was a great recommend. I had an Angus burger I asked for it to be medium and it came out perfectly slightly pink in the middle. I just how I like it. I had a side order of sweet potato fries and it was a massive portion. Very friendly staff and quick service, I ordered straight away without waiting on my food arrived within minutes amazing well worth the five stars I’ve given them. Highly recommend.

Faruk Cankaya The portion size is bigger than in central London. The taste can’t even be compared. I wish I had started with Turkish cuisine and stuck with it during my trip instead of the “popular/must-do” fish & chips and other street food. We were welcomed very warmly. The hospitality of the waiters was awesome. The service was quick. Thank you.

Shamila Somasundram What an amazing place and beautiful ambience this restaurant offers. Deyaar gives the home away from home vibe and I’ve never eaten in such a home comforting place before. The Afghan cuisine is exquisite and authentic. For someone like us who’s never tasted Afghan food before, it was amazing and especially my 5 year old loved it ! Such healthy cuisine and delicious! Price is completely reasonable. It was soo good, we went back the next day for lunch and take away. Highly recommended !
