1 /5 Matt Poole: Phoned this pub recently as I was in the area, I just wanted to know if they served food in the evening,my god what a nightmare! Got through to someone that can just about speak English I asked if they served food first she said no then said only pizza , what sort of pub only serves pizza?? I gave up in the end. Went to another pub and had a lovely meal.

5 /5 Alex Wang: The room was clean and well maintained, and the location was pleasantly quiet at night, especially outside of the holiday season. I slept well without any noise issues. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing experience

5 /5 Claire A. Poynton-Smith: I was super impressed with everything about my stay at Chequers B&B. The staff team were so smiley, proactive, and accommodating, while the accommodation was perfect and had everything I needed including a very comfortable bed and an ensuite with great water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was incredible (the cappuccino being made with milk from a lovely dairy!)! I had the 2 sausage, 2 egg breakfast sandwich and the bread was lovely, the sausages very tasty, and the fried eggs done just how I like them. It seems like its a small but extremely dedicated team doing an amazing job, and they are so personable and helpful. I will definitely stay again next time Im in the area!
