5 /5 H C: Had a delightful spot of lunch at The Wine Bar at Fortnum and Mason. Very tasty food and we didn’t need to book. Definitely recommend, nice atmosphere, ambient lighting and great service.

4 /5 Luke Martin: Liked this place, the food and drinks are of very good quality and the staff are really knowledgeable on whats on offer. So you can ask for recommendations if you are not sure of what to get. The flights of wine are seriously cool but remember to pace yourself. The service is amazing and the staff could not be friendlier. Atmosphere is a little cramped and they were playing jazz.... but with food, drink and service this good I forgive them.

5 /5 Jesper Rosendal: The Wine Bar at Fortnum & Mason Quiet, civilised oasis below street level in the middle of a very busy part of London. A place we repeatedly return to — both for lunch and for a calm, enjoyable pause before the day winds down. Quality and experience have been consistent across several visits. Food quality is high and portions are generous without tipping into excess. Dishes feel well judged for the setting: elegant but not fussy. Food highlights (across visits): Portland crab cocktail Chicken Caesar salad Patatas bravas Padrón peppers Cheese (Westcombe Cheddar, Ticklemore, Bishop Stilton) served with cracker bread, celery and onion chutney. The cheese board was particularly impressive — both in quality and quantity — and clearly curated with care rather than treated as an afterthought. Excellent and diverse selection of wine by both glass and bottle, as expected at Fortnum & Mason. Broad enough to suit casual drinking and more curious exploration. Wine flights are real highlights. The themed wine flights offer an engaging way to explore without overthinking. Examples include Champagne Flight, Taste of England, and A Trip to Italy. On this visit we sampled the Fortnum’s Collection flight — sparkling wines from England, Alsace and Champagne — it was very enjoyable and well balanced. Service is relaxed, attentive and unhurried. Well suited to lingering and relaxing rather than rushing. Ideal for wine lovers, quiet lunches, or a refined but low-stress end to the day.

5 /5 J R: Whenever we are in London we visit the wine bar at Fortnum’s. It is hidden away on the lower level of Fortnum and Mason. We like to sit at the bar and order a flight of English wines followed by smoked trout, cheese board and olives. The atmosphere is relaxed; the food is fresh and the service is excellent.

5 /5 Ian Standen: A wonderfull experience - lovely food and fabulous service, waitress super friendly and attentive, never let our glass get empty. We were in the crypt overflow, which was an oasis of calm compared to the usual bar area and the noise of the main shop. Had the monthly special champagne, which was perfect and will definitely go back next year. Welsh rarebit and the chips are thoroughly recommended.
