Ama Sushi - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Stephen Locke: Magnificent sushi, with a wide range of choice and freshly made to order. Everything we had was perfectly seasoned and just the right temperature, with a wide range if textures too. The best sushi weve had since we were in Japan 5 months ago. Good value too. We ate in, to enjoy the freshness. The surroundings are functional but clean and comfortable enough.

5 /5 Yasmin Kane: I ordered a takeaway via uber eats and I really enjoyed everything. I was a huge fan of the soft shell crab futomaki, seared salmon roll , their temakis and pumpkin croquettes. I would say their takoyaki wasn’t the best but it was still good.

5 /5 Nick Shilts: Some of the best miso soup Ive had in my life. I really enjoy Japanese food, the Karage chicken was fantastic well seasoned and juicy. The sushi came in very cute well presented boats, the sushi was really tasty and well portioned. We will be travelling the 20 minutes again and ordering at the next opportunity.

On the other hand, the katsu chicken curry was very good – large portion, plenty of vegetables, well-cooked rice, and the chicken was crispy and tasty. One downside: the takeaway paper bag was too weak and broke after just a 10-minute walk

4 /5 Andrea Cali: Looking for a decent Japanese restaurant and thanks to Google reviews we found this small restaurant in Forest Hill. Inside we found a small room made characteristic by some flags decorated with handwritten essays and some paintings. The rooms were reasonably clean, even the bathroom was clean but not in an excellent way. We looked at the menu and found a decent choice of dishes to try, we took a lot of stuff. The food arrived quite quickly and was well executed, the boats were very characteristic, the quality of the products was good but there was nothing characteristic or personalized. Given the amount we spent I would have expected maybe a free coffee, but in any case this did not affect my review. Overall I can recommend it.
