5 /5 Shasain Small: Definitely my favourite Japanese restaurant which I go frequently when I want Japanese foods. Foods are consistently fresh and delicious (including the sashimi), with a great variety of menu selection. Staff and chef are very friendly; the restaurant is really clean and cosy. NB: I ate half of the takoyaki before filming, ie original portion size was double of whats shown in the clip. Starters: -Nasu Dengaku (aubergine in miso sauce) -Takoyaki -Sweet potato croquettes Mains -Seared salmon roll (prawn tempura centre) -Grilled black cod with rice -Salmon sashimi x2 portions -Chu set (sashimi) Highly recommended to anyone who would like to have Japanese foods.

5 /5 Emma changlor: I ordered the ramen soup along with salmon sashimi and nigiri, and everything was really good (also complimentary of potato salad very refreshing). The food was fresh, well prepared, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Overall a great experience — highly recommend

Such a personal touch, we are looked after and very well fed here at reasonable prices, we really love and recommend this place for a dinner treat as well as an informal lunch outing

4 /5 Tabby Tiger: Want to give it a try after seeing many good review, particularly the reviewers from Asia and HK who should be more familiar with the "should-be" standard of Japanese cuisine. The lunch menu of £18 has plenty of choices and my ordered one with sushi, sashimi and tempura is particularly good value for money. Sushi/sashimi are fresh and tempura is crispy. Its an enjoyable one for me.

5 /5 Yen Chow: I’ve been coming to Atari Tei for a long time, and under the new management it has only gotten better! The food is as fresh and delicious as ever – from the beautifully prepared sushi and sashimi to the crispy tempura. Everything tastes so well-balanced and of high quality. The service was excellent too. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the waitress, Angela, was especially attentive and helpful. She made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal, which really added to the experience. It’s always been one of my favourite sushi spots, and I’m so glad the new management has kept the same great standard while making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
