Branca Bar, Restaurant and Deli - (Near Oxfordshire, South East)

5 /5 Cameron Rose: I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for her 21st birthday and I couldn’t have been happier with everything. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was really nice, but the service was the highlight. Our waitress grace went above and beyond, serving us a glass of Prosecco to start as a gift from the house. She checked on us often to make sure everything was perfect and even thew in a shot of limoncello to top it off. Not to mention setting up the birthday cake I had brought with the candles and birthday banner I put in the bag. I could not recommend this place any higher. If you want good food with attentive service, this place is for you

5 /5 Pamela: I absolutely loved it in Branca! The atmosphere is lovely. We sat outside and the vibes were great. The waitress helping us was especially lovely (wish I knew her name! She had dangly pink earrings on!). It was a bit chilly outside but the food quickly warmed us up. Overall, I really enjoyed the family dinner I had here. Would recommend this place to friends and family for pretty much any occasion! Food ordered (enough for 5 adults!): - Chicken escalope (the meat was very tender and the taste reminded me a bit of Chinese cuisine) - Risotto (it was surprisingly sweet! So delicious - 2nd favourite item) - Lebanese spiced Aubergine - Grilled sea bass - Triple cooked fat chips - mixed greens (so good!) - chocolate nemesis + pistachio ice cream (what an amazing dessert! Would definitely recommend!)

4 /5 Felix Mcgill: We had dinner at Branca in Oxford Jericho. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere — lively but still comfortable — and the staff were friendly, though service could have been a little more attentive. The food was good overall but not particularly memorable. The duck breast with red wine sauce had a pleasant flavor, but the sauce was much too salty, which took away from the dish. The pork belly was very good — tender, rich, and nicely balanced — and the tuna was excellent, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. On the downside, there were no plates provided for the bread, which was a small but noticeable miss. On the positive side, they did make an effort to accommodate wheat-free family members, which was appreciated. Overall, Branca offers a pleasant dining experience with some strong dishes, but a few details kept it from being great.

4 /5 Nathaniel Chew: Visited Branca for an early dinner, they have a special early evening set menu that’s two courses for £17.95 - incredible value! We started off with some lovely focaccia and a prawn and mussel pizzette with a spicy kick. Maine were alright - steak frites and gnocchi - large portions. The banana cake dessert was an odd little number with a bruleed banana half on the side but no discernible banana in the cake itself. On the whole, a pleasant dinner in an upscale bistro setting. Hats off to the staff for great service all evening!

5 /5 Rosie Dorsett: We hired the garden room for a large party booking for my daughter’s birthday, and I could not have picked a better venue. Cora and Juliet looked after our large party and were absolutely amazing. We pre-ordered food and it all came out as soon as we wanted it, the food was really nice, staff were all lovely, and the venue was so clean and perfect for the occasion. I genuinely could not fault it, the afternoon felt so organised and relaxed- everything was prepared prior to arrival and we were really looked after. thank you so much Branca team!
