Abboman Popped in for the first time in 30yrs....not much has changed...great to relive happy memories with my Grandad and Aunty Molly My very first pint was enjoyed here and there was a huge steak. Many happy visits over my teen years and early 20,s visiting from Poole.

Richard Page Stop & Taste is a takeaway diner, with table seating if you want to eat your takeaway inside. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu choices are varied and well displayed. Now to the food.. the lamb chops as a starter were made from high quality meat and spicy with a kick but not excessive. Delicious. The beef burger in a brioche bun was succulent… not surprising as the burgers are all made freshly onsite! Delicious. The crab and cheese burger tasty. Delicious. Hats off to Anton the Chef.. a local lad now serving his local community.

Mas Certainly a place to be in Caversham. This newly opened place serves almost every drink at the bar. The service is from very helpful and polite staff and the ambience is great. There’s no full food menu but they do serve some snacks and cakes to go with your coffee!

Kay Griggs-Wright Sandeep remembered me from a take-away order, which was delicious. I was delayed for my booking. Sandeep understood and went out of his way to provide an excellent experience. Above and beyond - most excellent customer service! Bonus, the curry was also very tasty. Thursday or Friday, give The Bite a try. I predict you wont be disappointed.

Tim Parsons Absolutely love what you guys are doing. The pub has a great quirky atmosphere and fantastic events. Great selection of food and drink (including a good range of non alcoholic options for drivers). The staff are very welcoming and friendly too.

E “Bookworm2017” We had a lovely meal here. Our server, Holly, was so lovely, friendly, and polite, she really made us feel welcome. It’s a really nice pub with a great atmosphere, and the food was excellent. The ribs were the best we’ve had anywhere, absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The pizza was perfect and the pork belly very nice. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and brilliant service.
