Chelsea Grill - (Near Kensington and Chelsea, South East)

3 /5 Ayesha De Silva: I was so excited to go and visit chelsea grill following the hype from social media. Upon walking in and going to our table I found the staff a bit unwelcoming. To follow in general I found the staff quite rude and unhelpful. Given the menu and the nature of the restaurant being steak I would have expected the waiter to explain how the menu works and the different cuts of steak etc. Instead I had to ask several questions and was given short and abrupt answers to what steak we should go for. I was extremely disappointed by this. We ordered the prawn on toast and tuna tartare and whilst I did enjoy the prawn one it was extremely small- 2 bites for £8 something. I was so disappointed with the tuna as it was so fishy- did not taste fresh at all and given the price this was not a good way to start. I have to say the steak was great, we ordered the porterhouse and it was cooked well to how we ordered. The potatoes were great and crispy but the aioli was such an awful artificial texture- looked like it had come straight from a bottle so again given by the price and the promised quality I was not too impressed. The lemon meringue pie was incredible and would highly recommend if you are going and they did give us a complimentary birthday cheesecake. Overall I would say this restaurant is very over priced and I was really disappointed with the unfriendliness if the staff.

5 /5 Dominiki Nikolopoulou: I visited Chelsea Grill for the first time and immediately loved the cozy atmosphere and great food. I always go for the Chateaubriand at steakhouses, as it’s one of my favourites and I can confidently say that Chelsea Grill met my expectations! I also tried the scallops, which were excellent in both quality and texture. The open kitchen added to the experience as well—you can smell the meat and fish cooking, which makes everything feel more authentic. The service was great, and Polina, who welcomed us, added a special touch to the experience. Will definitely be back!

5 /5 Stasya: It definitely belongs on the list of the best restaurants in the Chelsea area, the atmosphere, wine list, food, and service are all 10/10. Not ordering the cherry pie for dessert should honestly be considered a crime… You absolutely have to try it!!
