Doner Express - (Near Redbridge, South East)

1 /5 Ruddyuddy (Ruddyuddy): 3 visits, all with issues: 1st time: Had a lovely Beef Donner. But chilli’s sauce was off and gave me stomach ache for days. This can happen so I went back. 2nd time: Donner was dry and rubbery. They got one of my burgers wrong. Some of the chips were cold. 3rd time: I explained my order clearly and asked multiple times and he acknowledged my order. When he brought it out, chicken burger was missing!! And so he quickly did it meanwhile rest of my food going cold and when I got home nothing but the burger was piping hot. But worst thing was the Donner - it was burnt, cold and rubbery like hell. One of the worst donners. And so 3 visits, all with issues. Food quality inconsistent Mistakes on orders twice. I gave them 3 chances but won’t be going back anymore. The staff don’t understand English or bengali, how do you communicate with them then??

5 /5 Naila the Foodie: So far all Ive tried is their Express Doner Kebab and my family and I were pleasantly take aback. My mum usually hates beef doner but this particular cut she absolutely loved as it was bursting with flavour. The chicken doner is also banging, I personally love it more than beef doner as well as it definitely feels lighter on the stomach. They also give MASSIVE potions of meat here which I adore, unlike GDK which is ironically double the price. So be cautious if ordering extra meat as I did have to take a lot out! Their homemade toasted sesame bread is warm and comforting too. Dont be fooled by the sloppy appearance, this is one of the best doner Ive tried at such an affordable price!

5 /5 Khalid Abdul Aziz: Stopped off for a random munch here and was really pleased with the food quality, portions and service. A GDK type of business model/clone but slightly cheaper and larger portions. Thoroughly recommend this place. The Naga Doner was really nice but a little too spicy for me. Returned a week later and was NOT disappointed once again, tried the fried chicken as well. Really nice and would recommend the sandwiches and the fried chicken.
