Forgot to take pictures at the beginning because I was too excited but this is a picture mid-way through. Customer service was also very good

5 /5 Love Badchild: The avocado on sour bread was delicious! I added two fried eggs and bacon which was a good amount of bacon. Don’t miss the smoothies the berry one is yummy. Good prices especially the short bread. Also very clean cafe and helpful and kind staff.

5 /5 Office: This is hands-down my favorite EarlyCafe café on Wokingham road in Reading, and Ive tried the other two nearby options—this one is comfortably #1, while the others fall into distant #2 and #4 spots for me. I come here several times a week, almost always to work, and it never disappoints. The environment is spotlessly clean from the moment you walk in. The floors, tables, and counters are always immaculate, creating a fresh and welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in for hours. There are plenty of tables both inside and outside, so whether you prefer a quiet indoor spot or some fresh air, theres always space available. In winter, the heating is fantastic—positioned perfectly next to the tables, it keeps everything warm and cosy without ever feeling stuffy. During summer, the outdoor seating lets you soak up the sun comfortably, making it a lovely place to relax or get things done. The menu is genuinely amazing and one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. For breakfast, their full English breakfast is outstanding—perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, juicy sausages, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, and toast done just right. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. Lunch options are equally impressive, with a great variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and light mains that use high-quality ingredients. But what really stands out are the drinks: the fresh juices and smoothies are vibrant, packed with real fruit, and incredibly refreshing. Whether you go for a classic orange or something more exotic like a berry blast or green detox, they always hit the spot and feel genuinely healthy. Free WiFi is reliable and fast—perfect for getting work done without interruptions. And speaking of comfort, the bathrooms are stunningly clean. Seriously, theyre some of the nicest public restrooms Ive seen in any café—spotless tiles, modern fixtures, and always well-stocked. It makes a surprising difference to the overall experience. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. Its 5-star across the board. The managers and staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—they remember regular orders, check in without hovering, and always have a smile. Even when its busy, they make you feel valued and taken care of. If youre looking for a reliable spot to work, eat well, or just enjoy a great coffee in a clean, comfortable setting in Reading, this café is absolutely worth it. I cant recommend it highly enough—its the clear winner in the area!
