w z Had breakfast here for few days. Loved the foods, coffee, everything and the famous bagel from Beigel Bake Brick Lane is here too! Everyone was so nice, attentive and friendly. Always feels welcomed. Thanks again to Karim for the lovely service.

Whats Cookin Delicious food and great service! The curry puffs were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the atmosphere at Boxhall City makes it even better. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving tasty Singaporean street food!

Tom I had dinner here with a colleague on a Monday night. It was relatively quiet but then the city always is on a Monday. The decor is very nice and there is lots of space so would be interesting to see the vibe of the place when it’s full. The small plates are essentially starters and we shared the pork bites and burnt ends between two and it was probably enough. The menu is interesting! For the mains my colleague had the ribeye and I had the fillet steak. We had a side of mash with gravy and also the loaded style chips. The steaks were delicious. Really tender and cooked to perfection. The meat was great. Really up there. Big shout out to the gravy mash combo too. That was immense. The service was efficient and felt a bit upsell a few times but again that’s the city for you. We stuck with what we wanted and it was seriously good. Would definitely go back. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it.

Franciska Schmoll I really enjoyed the vibe, even from the outside, which is what prompted me to come and try Popolo. I just walked past and thought it looked super cosy and had a great looking menu. The kitchen is right there and I really enjoyed being able to see how the staff manage to create some simple but beautiful food. Cant go wrong with any of the dishes and it all made for a very lovely evening. They recommend 5-6 of the dishes if you are sharing between 2 people, we had 5 and that was a good amount. Chris Hinde Stopped by chance for breakfast and we’re not disappointed! Cosy, little intimate cafe set within the lobby of the Ned. Food was fantastic quality - we’d recommend the Malibu omelette. Some interesting alternative lattes on offer too, the beetroot cacao latte was inspired.
