Efes Turkish Restaurant - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Duncan: Was walking down harbour street on new years eve and this lovely restaurant was able to fit us in. The food was exceptional. Starters and mains were very tasty and nice and hot. I had the mixed grill so that I could try a few of the meats. All of the meat was juicy and really flavoursome. We tried a couple of bottles of wine but the villa doluca was our favourite. Ive only dropped one star for atmosphere as it was very quiet but I know it hasnt been open long. I imagine in the summer season this gem will be very busy. The staff were lovely. We met the chef and his wife. Will definitely be back.

5 /5 Adam: wonderful food, I was here with my girlfriend.. perfect service, wonderful fresh food.. While we were waiting for the food, we got some delicacies... very good beer... Turkish food positively surprised me... in a positive sense... beautiful place, warm and beautiful I will definitely come back here, its beautiful and I recommend it

5 /5 VIVIENNE Tamlin: Highly recommended. Walked in unknowing. It was the best food probably ever. Lovely decor and a great place for a date night. The owner was the chef and he took such care to present the food well. Waiter was new but charming. If I lived in Ramsgate I would go often. Give it a try, it is a Turkish Delight!

2 /5 Caroline Naylor: Cold yoghurt dip starter great but nothing to dip in it. Had to ask for bread, £3 for one piece of pitta bread, outrageous! Complimentary bread is given at most turkish restaurants or at the very least should be included with a cold dip starter. Had to ask for another bread - another £3. Hot starter was very disappointing. Bream fish main course was really good. Prawn main was overcooked and lacked body. However the chef did make another which was very nice. I think the restaurant is very overpriced. I found the waitress was quite pleasant to start with but unfortunately a young girl came in the restaurant asking for a job. The waitress took her on right away, but within the first hour the young girl had set a table slightly wrong and the main waitress hold her to leave because of it. I felt really uncomfortable about the whole experience.

2 /5 Myatt Andrew (Saxblower): We went to Efes Restaurant Fri eve 7pm It was empty! We ordered 2 EEFS Beers Starters : We had a cold mezze starter for 2 vine leaves, houmous, Tzatzaika Aubergine we were give 3 pieces of bread that was complimentary!! The lady said extra bread would be chargable !Hmmm It was OK! Mains : We ordered "Chicken kebab" which was average ! with chips Rice & bulgar wheat not hot The service was poor there were alot of reserve signs on tables too, during our stay no-one came in. We got the bill £66 service was £6 which I had took off I feel for £60 I did not get value for a mediocre meal ! I should of gone to A la Turka instead, which we have been before !!! When we left there the restaurant was still empty We will not be back !!! Left disappointed !
