Embers - (Near East Sussex, South East)

5 /5 Ed Chambers: I went here with my partner for Valentines Day dinner, and we both would highly recommend Embers. The atmosphere was great, the service was fantastic and the food really amazing from start to finish. I had a small issue with one part of my meal and the staff were quick to fix everything for us and get us a replacement in a kind and efficient manner. Couldnt recommend Embers more, shout out to our Lithuanian server who brought great vibes all evening :) Great place.

5 /5 Emma Gutierrez-Waldron: 5/5 would highly recommend The summary is that my dad and I ate here for dinner tonight and we will definitely be bringing mum and the boyfriend. There are plenty of tasty options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. We ordered the set menu for £35 a head. The flavours complemented each other so well, the starters were perfectly smoky, well textured and were so colourful. The main sirloin was rare which we asked for, it wasn’t chewy at all and it had a lovely chimichurri garnish to complement. The broccoli and potatoes that came with it also shone on their own. Hard to fault any of the food, especially when the portions were so generous. The drink was also very good, we shared a carafe of Malbec which complemented the steak well. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive, albeit maybe slightly busy but this didn’t affect the experience at all. The restaurant also smells amazing, the vibe was good, the music wasn’t too loud and the toilets were well taken care of. Only improvement I’d suggest is perhaps serve a little more bread and heat it up before serving.

5 /5 Mikael Lindroth: We arrived at a fully booked restaurant and was received by a waitress managing a large number of parallel bookings, some early, some late, some mixed up. Having reserved a table we calmly waited as informed (we were also early) for a few minutes before we got seats at the end of the bar. We were quickly taken care of by another waitress who explained the menu, the concept and got us our drinks. And from then it was a ride, a dinner experience, great food arriving at a steady pace, busy chefs, attentive staff. Book in advance and enjoy. We did!

5 /5 Sian Williams: One of the best meals and service Ive ever had. The food and drinks were absolutely devine! The whole team there were amazing. It was a wonderful evening and would so highly recommend visiting Embers. The Prawns, sprouts, short beef ribs and chuck steak were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The wine and cocktails were totally delicious and the team made our experience feel so special ❤️
