5 /5 Susan Khaing: I had such a great meal at FIERY FLAVORS 烹湘味. As someone who loves bold, spicy Chinese food, this place really hit the spot. We ordered the chopped chilli fish head, stir-fried yellow beef, white chilli cured beef, salted egg yolk cabbage with glass noodles, and smashed chilli with century egg – every dish was full of flavour and very comforting. The cured beef especially reminded me of Yunnan-style beef, which I absolutely loved. I went with a friend from Hunan, and she said the food tasted very authentic. Portions were generous, flavours were on point, and everything was perfect with rice. Definitely one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in London. Would happily come back and bring friends.

5 /5 Riley G: One of the most authentic Hunan (Xiang) restaurants I’ve had in London — a real hidden gem in Isle of Dogs. We ordered straight from the classics and everything tasted freshly cooked, no pre-made flavours at all. The claypot pickle chilli frog legs were outstanding: tender, clean, and deeply aromatic with proper Hunan heat. The Changsha stinky tofu was exactly how it should be — crispy outside, soft inside, and boldly savoury. The stir-fried aubergine with green peas was smoky and well-balanced, great with rice, and the braised pork with guabao came rich and glossy without being greasy. Even the sweet corn and Thai jasmine rice were done properly, which says a lot about the kitchen. Portions are generous, flavours are unapologetically bold, and spice levels feel true to Hunan cuisine rather than toned down. The environment is lively and relaxed, and there’s even KTV, which makes it perfect for group dinners. If you’re craving real Hunan food in London, this place is absolutely worth coming back for.

5 /5 EMMA: One of the best Chinese restaurants in London. This is such a hidden gem! Authentic flavourings and no pre-made ingredients. The peking duck was incredible, cooked to perfect, the skin was crispy and the meat tender. The dumplings were also perfect, as well as the sizzling beef with black bean sauce. The menu is huge and theres so much to choose from, from traditional Hunan items to more of the well-known Chinese foods found in the UK. Theres something for everyone, and their menu highlights the ingredients and allergies clearly. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. This place is modern, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Ill definitely be back. This is such a beautiful restaurant, and my friend and I had such a good dinner here. I recommend their salted lava buns and homemade sour plum juice for dessert. Thank you!

5 /5 fyre sun: One of my favourite Hunan restaurants in London! The flavours are so rich and authentic! I had such a great experience dining here. I would highly recommend stir fried beef, sticky tofu! They are my favourite! But all in all, I love all the dishes I have tried! Will definitely come back again!
