Flat Iron Kensington - (Near Lambeth, South East)

5 /5 Amber Swaffield: Me and my fiancé decided to go to the flat iron in South Kensington to celebrate our engagement, without even knowing the service was wonderful and even though there was a small wait the communication was amazing! Our server Sarah was organised, polite and took very good care of us! The lady (Valerie) who brought our steaks out had a great sense of humour and put big smiles on both our faces! This is the sort of service that means we will definitely be coming back!

4 /5 Sal: Great food and amazing service. All the staff were friendly, and Steve in particular made our experience really memorable. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were delicious. The aubergine dish was tasty, though the spinach one was a bit too creamy for my liking. Chips were okay but slightly cold. The complimentary popcorn and ice cream are always a lovely touch. The menu is reasonably priced, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, the waiting time was very good and the staff were attentive. The toilets were clean, and parking is conveniently close by. I’d definitely recommend booking in advance, as it tends to be fully booked even on weekdays.

4 /5 Sheena King: The ambiance is ideal, extremely cozy, and the staff are exceptionally wonderful. I visited this venue for my daughters birthday as she had been hearing a lot of buzz about it and was eager to experience it. The steak was enjoyable, but the chips and macaroni cheese tasted as though they were merely microwave meals. Despite the fact that there was a dish that fell short of expectations, I have received numerous excellent reviews regarding their spinach side and aubergine. Therefore, I would love to return and see if those dishes live up to their reputation.

5 /5 吳偉誠: Outstanding experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Tender, flavorful, and high quality. The sides and sauces complemented everything well. Steve provided excellent service throughout the meal. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was exactly right without being intrusive. His professionalism and warm attitude made the evening even better.

5 /5 Joel Mathews: Flat Iron never fails to impress! Affordable, delicious and excellent service! Went with the regular steak (£15), beef dripping chips (£4), truffle mac & cheese (£5.50), and the roasted aubergine (£4.50). Starting with the steak, it was so so tender. I know the cut isn’t fancy but somehow it was more tender than some ribeyes I’ve had in the past! So flavourful and perfectly cooked! All the sides are so good! The truffle mac and cheese is something I would go back Flat Iron for! It’s one of the best I’ve had! If you haven’t been to Flat Iron before, I’d highly encourage you to give it a try but do remember to make a booking as they’re usually fully booked. The complementary popcorn and ice cream is the icing on top of the cake!
