Ichiban - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 Larry Venter: We popped into Ichiban on a Wednesday evening without too much expectation. The reviews are all about right - good food, decent service and as the pace filled up the atmosphere was good too. They were very accommodating of gluten free requests too. No complaints here - I’d visit again.

5 /5 Courtney Davison: Ichiban is a Windsor staple, and where the food and service never miss. I’ve been eating here for a good few years, and when I go visit my dad (who lives down the road and eats here very frequently) we always have a meal at Ichiban. The staff are wonderful, fast, friendly and just incredible. The food is divine (we always have a dragon roll as they are otherworldly), I’ve had many dishes here and have never been disappointed. It’s the perfect restaurant for a meal with family & friends, for a date or even a solo trip.

5 /5 Paul Elliott: What a fantastic little Japanese restaurant. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The menu was excellent with a lot of choice. We had veggie spring rolls to start, spicy king prawn noodles and a vegetarian bento box. It was so so tasty. There was a good selection of drinks.

3 /5 Puppy: We got the sushi platter with 12 piece and it was not that good. The octopus sashima was so chewy and rubbery. Like I couldnt swallow it. The salmon was good, but the tuna was dreadful. It felt like jelly. Its a bad texture. The tempura we got was delightful. It was sweet and crunchy. The choices of the veggies was questionable but still edible. I didnt like the unagi rice that much because Im not a fan of eel, but my friend said it was nice. I also had a hand roll. It was a salmon sashimi with avocado, I love it, but the seaweed was so hard and chewy. Not my favorite type. Overall a great experience. Also I loved the decorations, it worked really well and made me actually feel like in Japan.

4 /5 stephen tun: One of the best Asian restaurants in Windsor which we can eat both Japanese and thai foods. Worth the price. Not much to say.just great foods what we love.thumbs up Hope they open near slough as well besides Windsor and include more dishes like mala Sichuan spicy pot /mala Xiang Guo. Service is just normal. We went there during evening .Thats why.not crowded.
